The other night before dinner Miles and I found a toad. He was very excited to get to hold it.
I think he is counting how many toad's he found.
Then we put it in the bug barn so we could watch it without breaking any legs off. He wanted to keep it in there until Sam got home to see it. So after Sam saw it I told he he needed to let it go so it could go home to its Mama. That didn't go over very well. He was devastated to say the least and kept crying, "but he's my friend".
Sam cut up some watermelon from the garden and wouldn't you know it - Frank loved it!
Frank has also decided that no where is off limits for her now. She can climb anywhere. She made it up on the lawn mower. Can't you see how happy Miles is to have here there!
She can climb up into her high chair by herself. Now I have to make sure I keep it latched. Well that is what I though until about an hour ago when she managed to make it up it with it latched.
This is Pearl's attempt. Good try. Malorie can also climb the bar stools now and sit down in them. Scary!
Pearl was kissing herself in the bar stool. Sam said he thought she probably thought she was kissing sissy.
Malorie also thinks her sweatshirt is an accessory like a bracelet or socks and shoes. She wears it constantly. Oh, and Sam's shoes too.
Grammy got the girls some super cute pink skeleton spooky jammies to go with brothers. They all thought they were pretty cool! I think this might be my new favorite picture!
This is Miles scary face.
They all climbed on Sam to have him read. Then when I took this the girls both did the same arm thing. Weird twin thing.
We are into coloring ourselves with chalk these days. Miles made a yellow head dot.
Today is my birthday and Miles has been super excited. He wanted to wear his birthday shirt. About every hour or so he says "happy birthday mom". Sam bought him some spooky cookie cutters for my birthday to hopefully keep him happy when the other present wasn't for him. SO then we had to make cookies this morning. I gave him the left over dough to play with like play-doh while I got the girls up from their nap. He was very happy for a good 20 minutes.

Then we had to decorate them, of course. He used the entire bottle of sprinkles on them! He had fun though.
