December 9, 2012

The girls are 23 months old today.  It has gone by so fast.
When I went to pick the kids up at Amber's this week they had on these ears.  Everyone wore them home.

Pearl was the first to destroy hers.  Malorie shortly after.  Miles has been guarding his really well so they are still ok.

We went to the zoo on Monday.  So did everyone else in the surrounding area.  It was fun though.  The babies loved the carousel.  So did Miles.  Sam did not.

Miles was really into all the animals.

A cute picture!!

Babies were into the fish.  Poor things were trapped in the stroller forever.

A conversation on the way home with a very hyper and tired Miles.
Miles said "I hate the word hate because it has the letter C in it and I hate the letter C"
Me:  "Miles that makes no sense"
Miles:  "I hate straight lines"
Me:  That makes no sense (laughing hysterically)

Pearl is quite the fashionista lately.  This outfit was what we wore to Grunny's for dinner last Sunday.  Oh wait, it was this plus two leg warmers on one leg, one on the other, and two pairs of socks on each foot.

Silly girl.
Daddy bought Miles this Scooby Doo balloon and Malorie was heartbroken that she didn't get one.  So she steals it whenever possible and someone else has a mental breakdown.

The girls were enjoying some Daddy time.

Baby Grant came to see us on Saturday.  He awoke to find Pearl hovering over him.  That is where she stayed most of the time.  She loves babies.

Cute cute baby Grant.

Proud sister Georgia.

Miles doing his usual gang sign.  He went with Sam right before this to get our Christmas tree.  It is beautiful!

Then he helped Sam decorate it.  The girls and I tried to help but it became impossible so we went upstairs to play while the boys finished it.

After nap, they were quite impressed with the results.  We will see how well the "no touch" rule goes.

Frank checking out the village.  She picked out her own outfit.  Miles shirt, Miles shorts, Miles boots.  Do you see a theme.

Then she put her blanket over her head, crawled up into her high chair (with it on her head), sat down, pulled it off and said "I see you" and then rolled her eyes back in her head for a photo.  She is very entertaining these days.

As I was typing this both my daughters took off all their clothes and went upstairs.  Oh, here comes Malorie with one of Miles pajama shirts.  Obsession I think is the word for it.  I better go check on Pearl.
