February 3, 2013

There hasn't been much to report this week which is a nice relief!  Everyone is healthy, happy, and very very silly.  The girls are now capable of climbing on my bed which was one of the last locations to hide things.  They now are constantly climbing up there, taking off their clothes, turning on my alarm radio, and having dance parties.  It is pretty funny.
Yesterday Malorie refused to wear any other shirt but this dog shirt.  This is her "cheese" face.

Miles was taking all his aliens on a ride.

Pearl decided to wear toilet paper she found in the closet as a bracelet.  Then sissy had to copy.

Then Miles got out the paper towels and made them into a pirate telescope.

Then the babies had to copy. ( I do dress them in the mornings, and about six other times a day)

Pearl making her evil grin.

A moment of sweetness.  What adorable kiddos I have.

January 27, 2013

We are all finally feeling better!!  It was such a relief yesterday when everyone slept all night and everyone played and ate!!  We are back to fighting over everything today so things are as they should be!  We go to the Dr. in the morning to have our breathing checked.  Then we have to try and reschedule tubes before the next go around of respiratory issues.
Here are some of our most pathetic pictures from last week.

Malorie

Malorie fell asleep in the chair after a breathing treatment.

Pearl having a moment.

As both required constant holding, I had to call in reinforcements to get things done.  Thanks Grunny

Yesterday as everyone was feeling better, I got our our new Dr. kit to play with.  It was amazing that the babies knew exactly what everything was for!

Dr. Malorie

Dr. Miles.  This is scary!

Dr. Pearl.

I tried to get all three.  Almost.

Malorie saying "cheese"

Then making the mouse kiss the camera.  Pearl kept running away so no pictures of her today.

January 21, 2013

Well, tomorrow we were on the schedule to get tubes. We had to cancel because both girls have been sick since last Thursday. I thought they had the flu because that is what Miles had. He was better in about four days though, and well, they are still really sick. I have been holding both babies day and night for the last four days. Poor things. They are extra pathetic. Their fevers have been as high as 104 and yesterday and today they aren't always coming down with Motrin. At 3 today I decided they needed to go to the Dr. so Sam and I took them. (Can I say how nice it was to have another set of hands as it usually is just me taking all three). We were the last appointment and she took one listen to Malorie and said, she sounded awful. They both got breathing treatments at the Dr. and it didn't do much good. She thinks they have walking pneumonia and guess what, Pearl has another ear infection!!! I know this will put us out probably another month on the tubes and will probably be another two ear infections for Pearl. She was on an antibiotic until Friday so she got one in a matter of three days! Arg. Anyway, I am hoping they feel better by tomorrow as they are on another antibiotic. I have no good pictures, just pathetic ones :(

Last week we went and saw the train - just the girls.  They thought they were pretty big stuff walking down the bike path.

Then we decided the rocks were more fun.

So this is one rare moment where I wasn't holding two sick babies.

And then I was.

Luckily though, Miles has been feeling GREAT!

January 15th, 2013

Miles has the flu I think.  He is extra extra pathetic and heart breaking.  He woke up with a 103.8 temperature and a cough.  I really hope the girls don't get it.  Here are some more pictures of the birthday extravaganza!!
The actual birthday balloon party.

Malorie practicing her volleyball sets.

Miles is a ham.

Pearl was feeding her baby a sippy

Frank thought they wanted cake.

But it was Pearl who wanted the cake.

Malorie just wanted the sprinkles

Miles wanted the icing.  (Notice his cool Angry Birds shirt for his unbirthday present)

The babies like birthdays in their birthday suits.  They also got really into the presents!!

Pearl has turned two and knows how to pout.

Miles got a lizard and a frog for another unbirthday present at the party. He loved them both so much that the next day when Pearl ripped the lizard's leg off you would have thought the world was ending.  Luckily Daddy had it surgically repaired.

Our wonderful Scooby Doo cake.  Too bad Kroger isn't very good at cropping.

The aunties came.  Now you are famous!

The babies played babies.  The grandma's conspired to get baby beds, high chairs, and matching blankets for the bedding.  Super cute.

Loving the new babies and strollers.

Uncle Brady brought a pinata!!  Everyone was excited.

The girls looked like carnival kids at the end but thought it was the greatest thing ever.

Malorie and her new puppy Bouncy!  She actually squealed with joy over this one!

Liking the fire just like a true Fawcett

Malorie blowing out her side.

Pearl grinned at hers but Miles helped!

After the party we all practiced blowing out candles with the fire Daddy built.

Did did a great job and was thrilled with herself.

Then we had a good ole fashioned dig in the mud party.  I am so happy we live in the country sometimes.

Malorie showing off her party stickers.  We had them everywhere.  In the bath, on their toenails, on their ears, on their tummy, on their noses.

Pearl looking suspicious

Malorie and Dad having a chat by the creek.

Miles stole the stickers and decorated his whole body before I found him.  He looked beautiful!
