We had a busy weekend with family in town. We were really adventurous and my future sister-in-law and I took all three kids to the store. We only had a hour before it was time to eat and we were successful!. There were no meltdowns (well, besides Malorie but that is to be expected). Everyone also got to go to the Memorial Day Parade in Fredericktown. It isn't so much of a parade as a cop car, the band, the boy scouts, and three fire trucks. Miles liked it anyway. He got a flag and a pencil which he tried to eat the eraser. He was a happy boy! After the parade everyone walks to the cemetery for a short service. I thought he would like the 21 gun salute. He could have cared less. During the prayer he kept screaming "what doing?" over and over. 2 year olds are fun.
Miles asked for a corn dog the other day. This isn't something I normally would have at my house but I found some veggie ones at Trader Joes. He was very excited.
Sam got a hammock for Christmas and was finally able to set it up. Miles like the idea of it but didn't really like being on it.
Malorie was attacking Pearl again. One of these days she will get her back.
Malorie found the dragon on the exersaucer. Miles used to love it.
An example! This is Miles at 6 months. I wonder if the girls hair will come in like a mohawk too!
Malorie was looking adorable during tummy time today.
Pearl kept falling asleep.
Then Malorie tried to show off her moves but decided she was too tired to go all the way up.
Pearl was holding on to Malorie's head while they were sleeping the other day. Yes, Malorie is on her tummy. Don't call the SIDS police.
Sam took Miles fishing for a short time last night. He hasn't been since last year when he was too little to get it. He was pretty excited. Well, excited about "swimming" and then excited that he remembered there was a swing set. He didn't actually get in the water but Sam said he really wanted to.
He like turning the reel. He told me he did it really fast.
