The girls will be 9 months old tomorrow! I can't believe it. They are getting so big and talented. Pearl has her first tooth finally! It is quite sharp too as she showed me this morning while biting my hand. Everyone has a bit of a cold so we are constantly wiping noses and trying to keep their snot off each other. Malorie just wiped her nose on the back of Pearl's head before I could get to it. Poor thing. Now she has a matted hair spot. I guess it will be bath night again tonight!
Last weekend Uncle Andy and Auntie Malena came to surprise Grunny for her birthday. Andy make Miles a box hat. Isn't he nice.
Then after dinner, Daddy played "ride the cooler" with Miles. He thought it was really fun until Malena tried to play and he fell off. Actually, he thought that was pretty fun, too.
Here is a preview of our picture outfits. I am normally not into the whole matching thing but they are twins and they should have one matching baby picture. Plus, they were super cute dresses.
Miles wanted in on the action. Pearl was so happy to have her brother with her.
Miles finally decided he wanted to be a dinosaur for Halloween. This is him flapping his "Dactyl" wings.
Then the girls decided they wanted to be dinosaurs too so we put Miles old costume on them. Here is Pearl looking ferocious.
And Malorie looking terrifying.
Everyone was in a super grumpy mood the other night so we decided to try and make them laugh. Malorie got a pants hat. It didn't work.
Pearl got a tickle party from Miles which did work. She was loving it.
The girls were sitting up so cute waiting for their food. They are getting so much better - but just with apple sauce. Perhaps they will only eat from one food group.
We were all sooooo happy it was nice out this week we tried to go outside every evening. Pearl is liking the swing these days but she can always get one arm out which scares me. She is still so tiny.
Grunny had to come save me yesterday. Everyone was outside when Miles fell off his ladder which started a very long and drawn out tantrum. A bug then hit his face which made him furious and then I used a cloth that had in his words "baby puke" on it to wipe his cheek. (It was clean). He now says I am not allowed to touch him with those because they are for babies and he is not a baby. Anyway, Grunny had to come watch the babies so I could take care of the prince for awhile. I found that marshmallows were the cure!
The girls were just lounging outside on their blanket.
I thought this was a silly picture of the two of them. They start out like this and in a matter of minutes they are either on the floor, fighting over a toy or Malorie has pushed herself off to play with buttons.
