Miles has been full of funny antics this week. We got shots on Wednesday and I was brave and took everyone by myself. I decided Miles had to go first because if he saw the babies crying, there was no way he would let it happen. He didn't even have time to get scared. She said "come on" and I put him on the table and she stabbed him. He started breathing heavy and I started telling him how brave and big he was and he said, "I get a sucker". And he did and he never cried Malorie on the other hand, cried forever and ever. She went before Pearl and cried until Pearl stopped crying too. Poor things had their synegist shots for RSV. The needle is huge and I thought it was going to go through their legs. They all survived and I am still sane. Well, sort of.
After our shots when we were in the car driving home, Miles had a "noisy booger" in his nose. I said, "Miles, your nose is making noise." He started breathing hard and laughing. Then he started really laughing and I asked him what was so funny. He said, "Mama, my nose farted!"
Pumpkin stache's
Fun with leaves. Miles didn't quite know what to do with them. He is so cautious. He would pretend to jump in them but then jump beside them. I ended up putting him in them. He liked it but still wouldn't do it on it own.
So his mean mom put a bunch of leaves at the bottom of the slide.
One day this week Pearl decided to make this face all day. She really does look like an old man without any teeth.
Malorie was looking adorable and showing off her two teeth!
Miles decided he wanted to get his tent out. I set it up and then he wanted the babies to come play with him. I set them in it an they loved it! I think they felt big!
Miles and Daddy had matching Frankenstein tattoos. Miles was quite proud as he told me everyday that he had one and wanted to look at it non-stop. So everyday we would pull one sleeve up so he could see it. Tonight was sad as we had to wash off Frankie. He cried like he lost his best friend. Daddy saved the day though and put a new pumpkin tattoo on in the same place. He also replaced his own with the same pumpkin.
I wanted to see how the girls would do with sippy cups. I gave them to them and they thought it was fun for a minute. Then Malorie cried and screamed an Pearl was quite happy that he got to chew on it. I guess we will try a bit later. On a positive, they are both eating like champs now! They need it extra watery!
This was Miles before bed tonight. I was putting the girls to bed and he saw a tutu that he wanted to wear. He especially liked the flowers at the bottom. Then he went downstairs and when I came down, he was having a dance party with his dad. He was jumping and marching and showing off his new tattoo. Then he found his other new obsession, daddy's flashlight. He loves to "blink" it at people. Then it was time to gather the power rangers, care bear, farmer, Elmo, and dolphin and go up to bed. He must have been tired from his dancing because he didn't even beg for another drink or another book. Weird. Oh, and we are finally back in a big boy bed. We attempted this last year at this time to have a crib free for one of the babies when they came. He wasn't ready and tortured us for months. He decided on is own that he wanted to sleep there and hasn't started getting out of his bed lately. He still calls for us to come and get him. I wonder how long it will take for him to figure it out!
