March 15, 2012

We have been enjoying the weather this week!  It has been a nice change of pace from being cooped up inside being sick.  Pearl went to the Dr. again on Monday for a follow up and she had an ear infection.  Imagine that.  They gave her a steroid to help her get rid of the gunk in her chest and an antibiotic shot to get rid of the ear infection.  She seems better but still not 100%.  Her breathing is still a little crackelish.  It is about time for Malorie to get an ear infection.  Actually as I am typing this she is having a hard time going to sleep.  Usually, sign #1.

The girls love being in the wagon which is a good thing.  I can't come up with a better way to have two crawling maniacs outside that don't walk yet.  I stood them by the wagon and they freaked out because of the grass and leaves.

Miles was super excited.

Then Pearl got sad :(

Malorie is always making silly faces

Who knows what this is about.

This is an attempt to get a picture of all three.  Not too bad as you can see two faces of the three.

Miles now thinks it is pretty fun to go potty outside.  This is his way of fixing his pants.  All of my children are so graceful.

A rare moment of brother love and sweetness.

If this was in focus it would be really cute.

We were very happy to get some of our new spring clothes out.

Pearl is such an odd size.  She can still fit into some 9 month stuff and can wear some 18 month stuff.  These are capris for babies and they sort of fit her.  This is a 12 month shirt.  It is hard to buy stuff when they are different sizes.  Everything I buy Malorie eventually becomes Pearl's anyway.

Miles and I went to the Dentist for the first time (him, not me) on Monday.  I picked him up at Amber's and we went.  I was terrified because he is a big scaredy cat.  He hates public bathrooms and fans.  I thought he would be completely freaked out and he was.  The whole way there he kept saying, "you can do it, mommy, you can brush my teeth."  I was prepared, though as I went on my lunch break and got bribes.  He has been talking about these snakes someone had at Amber's for weeks and I found two.  He was so scared in the chair and the only thing I think that got him through it was the thought of the snakes!  When  he was done, he got to play with them while I got my teeth cleaned.  He then proceeded to lay them on top of me while I was in the chair and try to scare the hygienists.  It was pretty funny.  Luckily we were the last patients of the day!
