We had a case of the Monday's today. I got to Amber's and realized I hadn't given the girls their medicine, we had no extra pants packed, I only had one yogurt cup for them to eat, and no lunch items. I got to work and commented on how nice my weekend was because no one was sick! Two hours later, Amber called and Pearl had exploded out her pants and on her floor, twice! I said I would come get her and I called Sam and he wasn't very far from home due to weather. He said he would meet me at Amber's and take the day off so I could go back to work. 5 minutes later when I got in my car, I turned my phone on and there was a message. He was hit by another car that slid around the curve in Martinsburg. He had to wait for the sheriff and he didn't know how long that would be. I waited 30 minutes and everyone needed a nap so we ventured home. The car is a bit destroyed but it is drivable. Sam, thankfully, is fine. So by 10 am, I was back home with everyone and exhausted.
On a brighter note, Miles and I played play-doh the other night and he was very proud of our creations. We made an ice cream cone.....which he had to lick!
Then I made the fish from the box but then he added a mohawk to it so it looked like an Elvis fish.
Pearl was so much fun this weekend. You could totally tell she was feeling better. I have about 40 pictures of her making this face. She just kept laughing and smiling. It was nice to see her little personality back.
Malorie was very interested in what I was doing with the camera.
Sunday morning Sam made me a bagel and brought it into the living room for me. The vultures swarmed. Miles took half and the babies kept crying until I gave them some. Then I made them their own and this is what Pearl did. I guarantee if this was given to them in their high chairs that they would not have eaten it.
Cute Malorie
Smiling Pearl
Malorie was doing raspberries. She is a talking machine these days and it is quite funny. All jibber jabber with an occasional Mama or Dada.
We had the Conway's over for dinner Sunday night and Malorie decided she was going to beg for bread from everyone. Kevin was nice and fed her lots!
Denise gave Miles some lovin.
Ella and Andrew were sweet as always.
Sam tried to feed Pearl some honey.
This is what I resorted to today at 4pm. Everyone was bored so we got the bed out to play on. The girls were loving it.
Malorie turned into a sumo wrestler and tried to take Pearl out. Luckily Pearl held her own and didn't fly off the couch.
