July 18, 2012

I found these pictures from the 4th of July parade in Gambier.  It is the best parade ever.  It has one police car, one firetruck, four other things and they all throw candy.  You don't have to wait in traffic to leave and it is 7 minutes from home so you don't have to miss naps!  These cracked me up.

Miles sulking because the announcements are taking so long.

Then some candy.....

and two toys.  Notice the mood change!  Also notice that my girls are barefoot.  They were filthy when we left because they refused their shoes and played in the mulch.

Yesterday we met our cousins Lucas and Micah at The Works for some morning fun.  (Babies stayed at home for some Grammy time).  Here are all three kiddos enjoying some things.

Miles decided to make the ball ramp a train track.

The bell was a hit.  He also really enjoyed the skeleton bones as he is obsessed with creepy and spooky things currently.  It was a super fun time until the door shut on him when we were leaving.  There was a blood curdling scream followed by much pouting and a nap!

The nap in the car was all we got so we needed an afternoon destination as well.  We loaded up after the babies nap and went to Ye Olde Mill.  We fed the ducks, got some ice cream, saw the water wheel, and fed the ducks again.

He got the blue kind......he said it tasted like blue.

The girls wanted to squish all the chips.  Sounds fun to me!

The following are random photos from the week....

We found our tutus and love them!  Well, Spiderman didn't really like his.

Grammy came over to put the kids to bed so we could go get me a new phone.  The kids were excited!

Miles helped Sam fix the screen door.

I cleaned my closet out on Monday and the girls won't leave the bags alone.  They keep getting all the clothes out and Malorie of course wants to keep wearing them.  I obliged and so Pearl got a tank dress.

Malorie got a t-shirt dress and then tried to put a sweater on as pants.  She got both feet in one arm eventually which was quite impressive.

Then Malorie found some sweet undies from college, yes I know that is disturbing.  I don't like cleaning my closet out.

Ok, do you see the resemblance?
