The girls turned four months old yesterday! It is hard to believe. We went to the Dr. for their wellness check. Malorie weighed 9lbs 14 oz. and was 21in. long. Pearl was 8lbs 2oz. and was 20.25 inches. They are doing fabulous with their milestones. I almost thought I was making things up when the Dr. was asking the questions but he saw it for himself. He flipped Pearl over and she immediatly pushed herself all the way up. He said, "that is the four month old position - and they were preemies, no motor concerns here!" That was nice to hear. When he flipped Malorie over, she tried to roll back over on her back. She did it three times in a row - so again, the Dr. was impressed!
The thought Pearl's baby acne is really cradle cap that is coming down over her face. It is looking better it just feels really rough. He wants me to continue mixing Pearl's milk with formula to make it higher calorie. My dream of just nursing them both is never going to happen. Oh well, there are worse things in the world than washing bottles.
The girls were doing so well sleeping but the last couple so nights haven't been so smooth. They are not wanting to go to sleep. Once they get there, they do a little stretch of 5 or 6 hours but one usually goes right down and then one goes down two hours later. That means I don't get a 5 hour stretch! Baby Miles is up to his old tricks again and is crying out anywhere from 5 to 8 times a night. He wants us to either cover him up, tuck in Elmo, turn on his music, or just tell him to go to sleep. Arg! Last night was a rough one. I think tonight we hold the line. It is just so emotionally draining to listen to crying.

My cousin Leigh was here to see the babies and Miles decided to "heal her" by pushing her head back and then throw himself backwards on the couch. He must have done it 700 times. She is a patient person.
Miles took advantage of Malorie being alone and curled up next to her. Actually I think he layed his head on top of hers but either way, it was cute.
Sam got his guitar out that he doesn't know how to play to show Miles how not to play the guitar:) He enjoyed it!
All three babies.
The girls are showing their tricks.
My mom and Garry rode the motorcycle out to house on Sunday to show Miles. He was a little hesitant to sit on it. After they left though, it was all he could talk about.
I believe Sam was a roadie for the rock group Pearl Jam, so he probably knows how to play guitar.
