We had family fun day outside yesterday.  Well, at least for a little bit. 

We got the sidewalk chalk out but Miles wanted to watch Daddy in the garden instead.  Then he just wanted to help with the girls. 

Malorie wasn't liking the outdoors so he put her paci in.

Then we found a ladybug.  Then we lost the ladybug and cried for a long time saying "where'd ladybug go"

Then we found a toad and a worm.  He seems to smoosh all bugs he catches so I tried to get him not to touch the toad.  He couldn't catch it which is good because I thought he would rip its legs off.

Then he asked me to hold him and I realized he had wet through his diaper, pants, and my shirt!  We had to go in.

Another pants off party at the Fawcett  house. 

Malorie was trying out the exersaucer.  Not quite yet.....

Pearl looks a bit ridiculous in it.  She is so tiny.  I bet she won't touch the bottom until she is two.

Miles and Pearl were holding hands.  A rare moment of sweetness.

Pearl sprouted hair overnight and had a fuzzy head.  You can kind of see it. 

Sam, Miles, and I went on a date to Granville for dinner.  Then we got ice cream and walked around to see if the fire station had its doors up.  They usually do when the weather is nice.  We lucked out and a fire truck was just pulling in.  They let Miles sit in it and touch a hat.  Then they gave him some stickers and his own plastic fire hat.  It was the best day ever. 

Until this morning when Sam just sent me this on my phone titled "Walmart redemption." Yes, this is the bus! I guess Miles won this battle but I still don't think I am ever taking him there again.
