The Wal-Mart Saga:
Last time Miles went to Walmart with Sam, he noticed the bus in the toy area and had to ride it. He sat in it, loved it and threw a great big fit because they had to leave. Today we went to get groceries and this is what happened. We walk in and Miles says "want to ride school bus". I said that we would when we left. We got some bananas and he said "I want to eat one" I said he could when we got home. I got some kiwi and he said "I want to eat some" I said when we get home that he could. From that point on the only thing uttered from his mouth was "I want to ride school bus". He must have said it about 4000 times. Just as I thought my head was going to explode, we were checking out. Then he saw the suckers on the counter of the bank by the check out. He said about 40 times that he wanted a sucker until he realized we were right next to the school bus. Then the whining became screaming until we stopped in. There was a little boy in it. We waited patiently and he got out. A little girl ran and jumped in before I could get Miles out of the cart. He said it about 25 more times that he wanted to "ride the school bus". Finally, I said we had to go and then he had a major meltdown and cried like I was ripping his legs off. It was raining outside so we ran to the car, the receipt blew out of the bag and I had to go get it, Miles shoe came off and he was still screaming about the stupid bus. I couldn't take it so I bribed him to stop crying with doughnuts. We are never going to Walmart again.
Apparently the girls cried the whole time we were gone too. Must be in the air today!

Sam wanted the babies to kiss but I think they were fighting instead.
Every weekend when Sam is mowing, Miles wakes up from his nap and wants to go watch him. He sits in his chair and waits until he is done and then Sam picks him up and they go on a ride. It is adorable how he sits and waits so patiently.
Miles wanted to show Grandma Wilma his bubble machine. He loved it!
Malorie can almost sit in her bumbo chair. She looks so cool in it though with her arm back.
Miles plows the rug a few times a day. I keep telling him it is a disc but he doesn't care.
Pearl was grumpy. She almost looks like she has some chub in this picture.
Three little monkeys on the play mat. Miles has radar of whenever they are on the floor and he immediately goes to lay with them. It usually ends with him getting too rough and me dragging him off. Someday I hope we get the meaning of the word "gentle".
