July 28

I took Miles swimming on Monday.  I think he is really warming up to the idea.  Ha!

Pearl, on the other hand got right in.  Okay, she is a baby and doesn't have a choice.  I thought she would love it because she loves her bath so much.  She tolerated it for about 3 min. and then gave me the lip of sadness.  She was sporting Miles old infant swimsuit so she looked like my son, Pearl.  Malorie had a super bad diaper rash and I didn't want to irritate it so she didn't get to enjoy the water.  Chances are she would have hated it anyway.  Even more reason to believe they are feline.

We love our tongues these days.

This is how Malorie looks all the time now.

We love to play in our exersaucers......

and play and play and play......

until we can't play anymore.  I do check on them so don't think this is a case of neglect.  She passed out today from playing so hard.  I felt so bad for her and put her in her bed.

We found this crinkle book and the babies started fighting over it.  It all starts here...

We received some dress up clothes for the girls and Miles had to try out the hats.  He said, "oh, I see diamonds."

In the mornings now for about five days running, Miles asks for a cereal bar and then eats it in two bites.  He gets it all stuck on the roof of his mouth and then Sam or I have to clean it off so he can swallow.  We are working on manners but it is slow going.

We are the proud owners of a spraying frog pool now.  It is replacing the plastic tub we used the last two years.  Big spenders, I know.  Miles once again decided he didn't need a swimsuit.  I agree with him though because he just pees in it and then I have to wash it.  Much easier this way.

It is fair week in Knox County and Miles was soooo happy to see the tractors. (The seat was hot on this one).  I decided I will just take him to a tractor dealership and tell him it is the fair because he won't know the difference, will be just as happy, and I can spend my $5 on an event that won't end in me having to wash my shoes.

The combine was the favorite.

This nice girl let Miles pet her rabbit.  It was his favorite animal.

He liked the pigs too.

Malorie has turned into a cannibal.

I assembled Pearl's new high chair and Miles put his doll in it.  I asked if we could try it out with a real baby and he said no.  After I finally convinced him, Pearl was very happy there.  We tried cereal again and it went a little better but it still wasn't pretty.  Maybe next week.
