The girls have yet another cold. As soon as they finish their antibiotics from the ear infection they got from the last one, they get a runny nose again. Poor things. I think they have been sick for about two months now. All of us really. They are in pretty good spirits though. They are happy to be celebrating the new year at home this year instead of cramped in a tummy.
I tried and tried to get a cute picture of them this morning but Pearl was not having it. She refused to wear her bow. She tried to strangle herself with it and then tried to strangle Malorie with hers. She then dove for her sister's head and they both ended up on the floor.
Cute boy.
When Miles is napping the girls love to play with his toys. He has certain one they aren't allowed to touch when he is awake. This is one. Malorie was loving it!
Malorie likes to make this face. I think it is super cute.
Miles was getting ready to jump on me. Can you tell?
My girls eating is driving me crazy! I gave them broccoli pieces and Malorie loved them. (This was just a funny picture). She ate a ton. Pearl refused but oh well. Malorie also has been drinking her milk from a sippy cup, sometimes. Then the next day I gave them broccoli again and they both refused to eat it. I gave them avocado and they both refused it (they ate this too the other day). I gave up and gave them pureed veggies and they ate three bites. At dinner time, I gave them pieces of pork and cooked carrots and they ate it like it was candy. They are so inconsistent.
We got home about 7:30 the other night and Pearl fell asleep in the car. She was an adorable sleeping bear but by the time I took her picture, she was like this.
So, the girls don't want to eat pieces of food unless it is either on the floor, or junk food. I went to talk to Sam in the garage yesterday and Malorie pulled up onto the table, got in the bag of Fritos and took a chip. When I came back, she was sooooo proud of herself. I let her have it since she went to all the trouble. Oh, and I found Pearl eating a rock yesterday. Rock sounds good but pear doesn't?
Nothing makes you sleepier than a frito.
This is "the position". Everyday after nap Miles needs to watch a movie with his best pal Woody and have some juice and a snack. I am desperately trying to find new movies to record as I am sooooo sick of Toy Story 3.
This is the best Christmas present ever! Sam got Miles a Gelli Baff. It is basically a packet of stuff that makes your bath into goo. Miles was so excited. He forgot about it until tonight and he wouldn't even eat his dinner he was so excited. This is his anticipation while the goo started working.
This is a bunch of goo by his tats. (I'm still working on getting them all removed without him freaking out).
The babies were super interested. They are always interested in whatever Miles is doing, especially in the bath tub as they can pull up and see what is going on.
Sam couldn't handle it as he is two years old as well and he eventually had to get in. When else are you going to get to take a goo bath? Miles was thrilled to say the least that he had someone to play with.
