January 8

Tomorrow, my little baby girls will be one year old!  I can't believe it.  It has been one of the best, longest, hardest, most rewarding years ever.  I am happy we are all alive and happy (at times I didn't think it was possible).
This is a moment when Pearl is full of life!  She gets so hyper and is hilarious.  Sam has been calling her Tank the last few days because she is so enormous.

Malorie's nickname is now Frank because she is so un-lady like.  She grunts and growls and moans when eating.  It is very funny.  She is such a princess though when it comes to things she wants or how she feels.  It will be interesting to see what personality is to come.

Speaking of lady like, Miles and I went boot shopping.  We stopped at lots of stores and only found one pair.  He didn't like them but he saw some  pink ones he wanted to try on.  I put them on him and he loved them!  I said if we didn't find any others that we would come back and get them.  (We found some awesome Woody ones at the next store and Daddy was very happy)

Miles enjoying his popsicle.
This is a baby toy that Miles thinks is his.  Whenever the girls start playing with it, he immediately comes and tries to take it away.  Malorie was fighting back today with her siren cry.

Malorie keeps playing dead.  Originally I thought they were cats, then dogs, now I'm assuming they are opossums.

Oh, she is dead again.

This is Miles in time out yesterday.  This was the third one in a row and he wasn't getting his way.  It cracked me up because Sam makes this face when he is just sitting around.

The ferocious Dino has resurfaced with a vengeance.  He is attacking a butterfly here and Malorie is trying to help rescue it.  We have worn Dino every day since Thursday and he likes to just come up and stand beside you until you get scared.  Then Miles says "its just me, I was just pretending."

Yesterday Miles and I were hanging out during morning baby nap and he saw my comb.  He ran with it and decided he wanted to fix the stairs again.  All the old games are coming back into style.

Ok but he is a year funnier than before and he told me he was going to fix it with his bottom.

He also begged me to paint his toenails.  Sam was not happy.  To his credit though, he wanted brown.  When I said I didn't have it, he went with pink.

Malorie was singing (growling) and dancing while eating a pretend cake.  She must know her birthday is coming!
