January 9

Happy Birthday sweet baby girls!

I lost the girls for a minute and found them behind the chair.  I am in for it I think.  Good thing I found them for their party the next day!

This is Miles trying to keep his tractor away from "Pearlzilla".  He came up with this name as whenever he is playing on the floor the babies swarm and take apart his stuff.  I taught him to put it up on the couch so they can't get it.  This is working for now but I am out of ideas once they get better at climbing.

Party time!  Miles got a present from Aunt Zo.  It was a little Buzz and a little spiky guy from Toy Story 3.  They are currently asleep with him in his bed, along with the rangers and Woody.  It is an elite club.

These are the girls party outfits!  They dressed up.  They thought they should coordinate so people would know they were sisters.

Then they decided to take off their tights.
Pearl was into accessorizing with Miles new glasses.

Before.....

After.....
Malorie, as you can see, devoured hers and loved it!  Pearl really could have cared less.  Grunny even tried to help her and she wasn't really into it.
Everyone was trying to get Miles to eat his cupcake like a crazy baby.  He wasn't being very adventurous.

Georgia showed him how it was done!

Happy girl.

Happy boy!

Pearl was hanging out with Aunt Karen and Grandpa Scott.  I think she wants to eat those glasses instead of the cake.

Malorie had to have a wardrobe change.  Grandma Lori's necklace was a great new toy to play with!
These are the last pics on their actual birthday.  This is almost bedtime and everyone was in pretty good spirits.  We went to the Dr. today and Malorie weighed 18lbs 4oz and was 28" long.  Pearl was 15lbs 10 oz. and 27.5 " long.  They are both on the chart for height (25% and 10%), Malorie is 10% for weight and Pearl is not even close to being on the chart yet.  No concerns otherwise but we go to Children's tomorrow for our neonatology appt.

Maloriezilla got Miles train track.  It was a big issue right before bed.

Pearl thought it was funny.

We took the girls out for their birthday.  They had a pretty good time for having a long day at Amber's and the Dr's.  Miles, on the other hand, was not excited about the girls birthday.  He can only take so many days of not being the center of attention.  Today at about 6:24, he decided he was done and needed some lovin!  Good thing Grunny was there.
