Summer is finally here! I am very happy to be on break but not as happy as Miles I think. Although we didn't start it off in a very fun way. My last day of work was Friday and I had a sore throat. Yesterday I had a fever and so I went to urgent care today and I have tonsillitis. When I got home, Miles was just sitting so I went to give him a hug and he was a 1000 degrees. I took his temp and it was 102! I'm not sure what he has but he asked me to go to bed an hour ago which is completely not like him. We were going to go to the zoo tomorrow but I guess it will have to wait. The girls are quite feisty these days as they are currently putting rings on their arms as bracelets and rolling up in the blanket. It is all fun and games until Pearl gets stuck again and cries until I come take the blanket off her head.
This is how the blanket game originated. We put it down and say "night night" and they both come over and lay down. It is pretty cute.
Pearl was sporting her double denim this week.
Then I found out she was a genius. I opened the toy drawer and went to the kitchen. When I came back she had taken a toy out to stand on to get another toy. Pretty smart!!
Malorie's new trick is to climb on the couch by herself. She has to date taken two nose dives off of it but it hasn't stopped her.

Miles spent the day out with Grammy yesterday so Daddy and the girls and I had a dance party. You can't see the dancing but it is happening. The babies loved it!

The babies also think they are gymnasts now that they can walk. Pearl often stands on her head like this. Malorie is trying to do it too in the background.
They love this baby and were holding it so gently.
I think Malorie was ready for bed. When the thumb goes in, it is time.
