Malorie was not liking having her CPAP in her nose again and actually ripped it off at one point. Apparently she knows what she wants already. The earliest they would take it off would be Sunday so we will see if she graduates then or not. She might just have to take matters into her own hands again if she doesn't get her way.
She gained just a few grams yesterday and was still at 3lbs 6 oz. She is on feeds of 28 ml and they are now fortifying it and giving her multi-vitimins as well. She is still at room oxygen and doing great!
Pearl actually lost almost an ounce so that is a little concerning. They will address it at rounds today but will most likly fortify her milk a little more or increase her feeds. She is at 25% oxygen which is the lowest she has been at and doing okay. She has only had a few spells.
Pearl cracked an eye when she was sucking on her paci yesterday. She actually openned them a lot when I was there. She must like her new room.
Malorie was enjoying her tummy time. She also got to have her chin strap off because she was keeping her mouth shut while on her stomach.
I thought I would give little Miles a shout out today. He was playing in the snow yesterday with Uncle Andy and LOVED it. He learned all kinds of new things like throwing snow balls, karate chopping snow blocks, and breaking snow chunks on your head!
Oh my gosh, Eryn, Miles is so big!!! Happy he learned all that cool stuff to do in the snow :) Good news about the girls. Poor little Pearl, but she is a fighter, right? I showed the students a few of the pictures. They were very interested & now ask everyday about you, the girls & Miles. Miss you lots, but you have an even bigger job to do now!!
