February 5, 2012

Everyone is feeling better.  Not great, but better.  I think we should buy stock in Puffs before next cold season.
Miles found his staches the other day.  He thought he was pretty funny when he went and put it on his ant farm.

And then he wanted Pearl to wear it.  She used to be much more agreeable to such things.  Now she just wants to rip it off and lick it.

Malorie can push this by herself now and thinks it is pretty great.  Pearl is just too short.

So she prefers to hide under the table and steal the crayons to try and eat some before I find her.  I had to clean out all the broken pieces because more than once she would be crawling around with one in her hand without me knowing it.
Sam was leaving for his a Mason meeting and so Miles wanted to wear his hat.  He thought he was hot stuff as he asked for me to take his picture.

We got home late again the other night and we had two sleeping bears.  Malorie is too big for hers but I keep cramming her in it.  There is only another month of cold or whatever you call this weather.  I am going to see if we can get by.

This is how the girls help me fold diapers.  We have to put the liners back in every day after we wash them.  It is my least favorite thing to do.  Anyway, the girls have decided that it is really fun to take them out of the basket after I put them in.

Miles likes to make a pile of them and pretend that he is swimming or that they are a fire.  Don't ask me, he also pretends he is a fire fighter with a block (hose) and turns on his vacuum as the sound.  He told me though that he wasn't putting fires out, we was putting them in.  I told him that didn't make sense and he argued with me for a long time until I agreed.  I think he meant he wanted to start fires and not put them out!  Hurray!  I hope this subsides before his teen years.

So the girls love ripping tissues, napkins, newspaper, magazine, and toilet paper into shreds and either eating it or spreading it out all over the house.  Doesn't Pearl look guilty!

Vampire baby!  Sam helped me get this picture.  She will appreciate it when she is older.

Pearl eating magazine.

Miles thinks it is hilarious to steal chapsticks.  I bought Sam 6 for Christmas because he can't find any of them.  Here is Miles playing keep away from Malorie.  He is really trying to keep his prized possession from her and she thinks he is playing a game.

It snowed Saturday morning enough to go play so Sam took Miles out before nap.  They tried to make a snowman but Miles was too grumpy so they just made a head.  Miles is putting hair on it now with sticks.

The babies had to check out what was going on.  Sam was playing with them when Miles started yelling orders.  I love that you can see him pointing in the background in this picture.  The babies stood there watching for  along time until Sam threw a snowball at the window and Pearl started crying.  Nice going Dad!
