We have had a polar shift here at the Fawcett house. Miss High-maintenance Malorie has been so pleasant and easy going these days. She has been content to play on her own and has been super lovey and sweet. Our little sweet baby Pearl, on the other hand, has turned into a "spirited" child. She has been refusing to eat and been overall, unpleasant for the last few days. Sunday, she was on a riding toy and I took her off to save her life from her brother Miles and it made her angry. Instead of crying like a normal child, she decided she would get so angry, so fast, that she would turn beet red and pass out!! I scooped her up, she passed out in my arms, and then she was so exhausted from it all, she took her morning nap. Talk about going to extremes. She has done it once a day for the past three days. She is usually really tired and something happens that makes her angry and she instantly turns on me. Last night was the scariest as her eyes crossed and she twitched a little afterwards. I took her to the Dr. today and he reassured me that she is okay, just a little early for such behavior. He says she is getting so mad that she is pushing so hard her larynx is closing and the air can't get out. That is why her face is red because her blood pressure is going up. She seems like she is doing the "silent" cry but can't breath. As soon as she passes out, her color comes back to normal and she starts breathing. The whole thing doesn't take more than 30 seconds but it is a scary 30 seconds. On the bright side, she didn't do it tonight because we kept her well rested and entertained. We will see how long it will last!.
Don't let this sweet face fool you.
The girls were sporting their super cool legwarmers this week. Everyone loved them at Amber's.
This is the best picture I could get of Pearl so far this week.
Miles finally got a hair cut!! I am sooooooooooo happy. It needs a little touching up, but the bulk is gone.
