The girls had their follow up eye appointments today at Children's. They are both alright. Malorie does not have to go back and is fine. Pearl has to go back in three weeks but so far is alright. We are blessed!
The first night home was an adventure. The first whole day home was even more of one because I was by myself. It was trial by fire and we all survived! The second night home was great. They both did a good job sleeping and I actually got a three hour chunk of sleep. The third night, not so fun. I had one or the other of the babies next to me in bed all night. Not to mention about fifty trips to the nursery to replace a pacifier. I think this is my new reality and I'm trying to be okay with it. It does help to see their cute little faces. I am just so grateful for the way things turned out. I still can't believe they are mine, they are here, and they are okay. We are blessed!
