The good news is that Malorie got off CPAP yesterday! The bad news is that they put her back on this morning. I got to hold her without it on her head though and it was fabulous! I got to see her little head and kiss it. She was doing okay without it but was working really hard to breath this morning. She was taking a long nap after they put her back on because she was so tired from breathing all night. They might try her off again tonight. It just depends on how she does. She is eating great and gained 8 grams last night.
Miss Pearl is up to 30% on her oxygen this morning. She had a couple of spells and they are trying to ween her back down. She is eating good and gained 48 grams last night. She is now up to 2lbs. 7.25 ounces.
Malorie opened her eyes for a second and I caught it yesterday!
Pearl had a little vest on and was cuddled up when I was leaving.
Miles was "shooing baws" this morning in the basement with daddy. Apparently he thinks you have to lean into the camera for it to work.

ReplyDeleteThe girls and Miles are so cute! I've been keeping up with your posts. My grandaughter was born at 26 weeks and grew in the NICU there. She's 9 months old now and weighs almost 20 pounds. Believe me they'll be home before you know it!!
