February 23

Both girls had a really good day today.  Pearl took a bottle at 2 am and then another one from me at 2 pm.  She didn't really wake up for me but I tried it and she sleep-ate the whole thing.  I was so proud of her.  She did 100x better than the day before.  Now if we could just get that oxygen turned off we would be in business.  Oh, and she needs to gain a half a pound.  She is still at 3 lbs. 10 oz and has to be at least 4lbs to come home.  Hopefully by the time she is eating every feeding with a bottle and off he oxygen she will weigh that much. 

Malorie is doing wonderfully.  The Dr's didn't seem too concerned with her spells and her heart rate dropping.  I don't know if that should concern me or not but they are still thinking she might come home either Thursday or Friday.  That means I really need to get some things ready.  She had her car seat test today.   Basically they have to sit in their car seat for the amount of time it takes you to get home and make sure they don't drop their oxygen saturation or their heart rate.  Malorie slept the whole time so she did great.  She gained another ounce last night so she is up to 5lbs 6 oz.

Pearl has a sore where her IV was for her blood transfustion.  They put neosporin on it but it still looks like it hurts.  They are watching it closely.

Baby Miles just got his play mat out today.  He loves it just as much as he did 20 months ago.
