Malorie on the other hand gained a whopping 3 oz. last night. I'm not sure how she accomplished this (the nurses checked it twice!). She is up to 3lbs. 11.5 oz. They bumped her feeds up to 32 ml which is a little over an ounce every three hours. They are hoping to stop her caffeine next week. The plan is still to shoot for Monday to try her off the CPAP again. She can't wait as she tries every day to take it off while I am holding her. The nurses say she is a "spirited" child. Today she actually accomplished getting her feeding tube out while being held!
Malorie was winking at me as I was getting ready to say goodbye.
Little Pearl got a pink hat and bow today from her nurse. She also had a little sleeper on but it got taken off when I held her.
After I held Malorie, she must have been super relaxed because when they put her back, this is how she stayed. She was also happy they had her CPAP off to change it.
A rare look at Miss Pearl without her CPAP. They were changing it and I got a quick picture.
Great news the girls had a wonderful day!! Love seeing the pictures :) I have been showing the students a few of them at school. They all miss you & can't wait to see you again. But they understand right now you have a big job with these little girls.
ReplyDeleteBe sure you are taking care of yourself too, Mommy :)
Thoughts, prayers, & love to you, Sam, Miles & the girls!!!
