Pearl got a new home today.  They moved her to the west wing.  The west wing is a small room of four babies with one nurse.  They are usually low maintenance babies that are just growing and almost ready to go home.  I hope that is the case!  They must think so or they wouldn't have moved her down there.  It is nice because it is easier to scrub into and you can pump in the room instead of leaving and scrubbing back in.  It is also big and quiet which is also its downfall.  In the other room you can talk to all the nurses, not just yours.  They seem like family now since I spend so much time with them. 

Pearl gained about three ounces last night which is amazing.  She is now at 4lbs. 1/2 oz.  So I guess this made the Dr's optimistic since they tried to lower her oxygen again this morning.  She lasted about two minutes this time which was really disappointing.  I'm very nervous to bring her home on oxygen so I'm hoping she gets the hang of breathing pretty soon.  I'm also very nervous about her nursing.  She hasn't ever really gotten the hang of that either and I'm scared I will be pumping forever. 

Malorie on the other hand is really getting the hang of nursing.  She went to the regular Pediatrician today and had gained 7 ounces since coming home on Friday.  They said she was perfect which we already knew but it was nice to hear!  She is up to 5lbs 14oz.   She has been a very good girl since coming home.  She is a pretty good sleeper and doesn't fuss very much.  I hope I'm not jinxing myself by saying that. 

Malorie was sleeping in her princess camo hat.  She attempted to smile for me. 

Pearl had her eyes wide open but then when I got my camera out she decided she was a squinter. 

Miles found another new toy to play with and when I told him he was too big, this is what happened. 

We also made cookies that day.  I don't want everyone to think all he does is play on the baby stuff all day long since that is what all the pictures are of.
